German online magazine Highsnobiety teamed up with the New Yorker Ronnie Fieg and Puma to celebrate the magz 10th anniversary.
Therefore the three of them launched a pack of two pairs including a modified Blaze of Glory in American flag colors to symbolize the input to the project from RF and an r698 high with a German flag and colors to show the other country involved.
This post is featuring the Blaze of Glory which I appreciate a bit more from the two pairs. For the first time you’d find a Velcro on the model that gives the silhouette a dope unique look that reminds me of a Nike air Trainer. Those Velcro are branded with the KITH and Highsnobiety logos on each side.
The shoe is draped in a really nice smooth leather, double stitched on the toebox, combined with clean nylon details and American flagged insoles. A speckled midsole and rope laces with golden tips finishing off this quality pair.
Both pairs came with super nice and firm boxes, a matching bag and the 10th anniversary issue of the Highsnobiety mag.
This project is a very good example for what a proper collab should look like and how two different nations can work together to create one of the nicest projects from Puma in a long time.
