To be honest, I haven’t heard a single word about the Epitome shop from Atlanta before. But they definitely put their name in the map with this collaboration with Saucony on the Shadow 5000. The “Righteous One” is an amazing shoe where all attributes a nice collab need comes together.
Everything’s coherent from the nice turquoise colorway over the concept to the materials used. Speaking of materials, this Shadow 5000 is built around a premium pig suede and leather with an all-over fish scale pattern on the toe box, set atop a translucent sole laced with golden flakes and adorned with “hamsa” and “eye of conscience” symbols for protection and guidance.
The shoe’s concept is inspired by the 65-foot “Big Fish” landmark located right across from Epitome’s doorstep in Buckhead.
The Epitome “Righteous One” is definitely a must-have for all Saucony fans and of course one of the brand’s highlights this year so far.
I’m also proud and happy to tell that I recently worked together with Saucony by shooting promo pictures of an upcoming Shadow 6000 pack which is set to release by the end of this year. Stay tuned!
